This drawing was made as a gift to Kumiko Shimizu, for all the
support she always gave me. The name of this fairy is Olive,
a character from a manga story I wanna make, called
"Dreams Of Fantasia".ThanX for all the comments till now.
I intend to bring new and better drawings soon.

Esse desenho foi feito como um presente para Kumiko Shimizu,
por todoo apoio que sempre me deu.O nome da fada e Olive, um
personagem de uma historia que pretendo transformar em manga, chamada "Dreams Of Fantasia".
Muito obrigado por todos os comentarios ate o momento. Espero
trazer novos e melhores desenhos logo.

Oh. Em. Gee. o____o

This has to be one of the most stunning pieces of art I've seen on deviantART. EVER. The minute detailing is absolutely incredible, from the little flecks of iridescent light in her eyes to the tiny faerie flying in the background. The coloring is positively luscious. Her skin is expertly shaded, and the green of the eyes contrasts nicely with the brilliant red hair delicately framing her face. It looks like each strand of hair was drawn with the precision of a diamond cutter, and the wonderful light sources highlight it most wonderfully. And I adore that background! Every petal, every center of every flower has been detailed down to the individual lighting on the grains of pollen. Marvelous! And I STILL feel like I could become lost in the deep universe contained within each shining orb of her eyes.

I'm going to have to break my rule of one favorite a week and add this. Because I doubt I will ever get tired of looking at it. It's just... astounding! You and everyone else who worked on it, no matter how small their part, obviously poured a small bit of your soul into it, and the effort more than shows. :]

Ok... me so shy now! It took me 6 months to complet this work. This is the first time I could see a person taking the time to watch every detail. I didnt want to make a simple work cuz the original pencil drawing got a very important award in Brazil (It got 2 more awards after that) and I have some personal feelings for it. I dont think its close to one of the best works in Deviant... but I could tell you that it really took part of me to make it. Your comment made me take some time and look again the original file (HUGE DRAWING - 300 megas). I dont care why, but I feel like giving you something back for the way you made me feel, so... please leave your adress in a note and I ll send you a copy of "Dreams of Fantasia" as a Gift for your well written comment.

E ae, tranquilo? Bom... eu estudei no inicio sozinho... mas... depois estudei em alguns lugares fora do Rio. Aqui no Rio e mais dificil de achar um lugar legal, mas se tiver afim, pega meu MSN e vou te dando um help com o que precisar. A gente do Rio tem que ir se ajudando ne?

Wow! The colored version is absolutely stunning. When I look at her face, I have the feeling that when I turn my head away from the screen, she's gonna start moving or something...

Her eyes, of course, are gorgeous, her hair is amazing and her nose and mouth are simply perfect on her. I like the little grin she has on her face, it makes her look full of life.

Aprendi sozinho... vendo muitas pinturas e fazendo muitos testes... MUITOS... essa elfa teve 5 cores de cabelo diferente.

I meant to comment on this before dude, but I completely forgot XD thanks for reminding me.

Great color choices for the flowers and such, all that green under her really makes the hair stand out and seem all the more violent. The addition of the other fairy is an interesting touch. There's alot of really well-placed blurring and I love the rays of light coming out of the top left corner.
