When you talk about this being "the actual pic" and you think it's "without any manipulations of any kind", you might be misleading yourself. This scene here cannot be photographed as you see it with your eyes. The photographer can use graduated filters, either neutral density or warm toned, and a high-saturation slide film, etc. etc. Many deviantArt people think of "manipulation" as actually altering the image on the computer, but a lot more control goes on even in the taking of the picture. It's photography!

Hey there, I found this deviation through =Deviant-Underground and I just wanted to say that the colors are remarkable and I love the bold almost blackness of the island and the rocky coast. It's a gorgeous picture.

Hey Deviant...
Your awesome, and it's been recognised, I'm =yuppy64 , and I run a project over at =Deviant-Underground to promote underappreciated artists, and share their art with our watchers, each day three pieces are featured in the club journal, and the same journal posted to all the daily members, who post the same journal in their journals, each saturday the 5 favourite deviations from that week are posted again, and that journal sent to a different list of members, then those deviations are put into a poll, and by the next week, the deviation with the most votes is submitted to the clubs gallery with comments disabled and a link to the orignal. so eventually, when the project gets bigger, then that should have a huge effect on the featured deviations comments and favourites...
Anyway, today your piece was featured at [link]
Enjoy the little bit of attention.
Ways you can help out...
