So here it is, the "official" cover for the Coreline story, "The Gravity Falls Run".
It's supposed to call back to those old-school action (or sci-fi action) movie posters where the hero is either facing off an incoming threat in the distance (an example could be one of the "Mad Max: Fury Road" posters where Max is facing off Immortan Joe's war caravan (ia.media-imdb.com/images/M/MV5… )) or where the hero is walking/charging towards the "camera" (well, if we are to consider a quick example, the poster for "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" is one of these).
Yeah, that's a Punisher skull on Roger's vest. It'll be explained on the story proper.
There's also some nice little details like the "Wanted: Bill Cipher" poster or the "Godzilla Vs. Cloverfield" poster (could be a film, could be a Pay-Per-View fight event... on the Core Timeline, either one is possible) or the Gideon poster (guess it's for the "Tent Of Telepathy") on the bottom.

It's a permanent fixture of Gravity Falls now. One of the reasons why it's a hotspot for weirdness. And yeah, he looks pretty close; because he's supposed to be using the face of Yusuke Urameshi (Yu Yu Hakusho), but going for a "professional soldier" look (kind of hard to notice, but that hair is not Yusuke's mullet, but a buzz-cut).

And they appear... the issue is, by all means and purposes, Weirdmageddon is still ongoing on the Coreline (well, if we are going to describe the whole damn mess, "Weirdmageddon" is not a bad term to use). It's just that Bill is not the one running the show.

So Bill has, to use an RPG reference, been downgraded from a nigh-omnipotent (and sadistic) GM to a (albeit still very powerful) PC (CLULESS being the new GM in the scenario)? Still dangerous and causing trouble, but not nearly at the extent he once could?
