Im quite happy with the way the skincolours came out in this one(the idea is that he let a quite critical head wound go completely untreated and it just healed in a rather grotesque maner)

The left side of his face kind of reminded me of Anthony Hopkins :'D I guess it's the shading and the details around the eye and brow. Anyway, I like this painting (especially the neck-collarbone area, heh). Even though the painting is not the most detailed one, the skintone and the shading look really nice and realistic. You're very talented (:

Wow. This has a melancholy atmosphere. Like the veteran has come home and its the day after. Almost like asking forgiveness and hoping for acceptance... and longing.
