Description
On June 29, 2022, I was illustrating one of the images that struck me the most when I was 4 years old and had in my hands the September 1997 issue of the Galician magazine Crono Motor, my very first car magazine. As always, I didn't like to see the suffering and dismay of others and did not accept that the then brand new Ford Escort Maxi Kit Car of Daniel Alonso and Salvador Belzunces was in this state after its suspension broke, forcing them to abandon. Little Marcus said to himself "that way, it doesn't seem to be going far...". In the end, the favorite Jesus Puras also retired, leaving the victory of the Rías Bajas rally (which has become very emblematic for me) to the regular and above all fast Jaime Azcona with his Peugeot 306.
