Looks like this is comic #40, as well as the first in a lot of ways. For one, this starts my new Monday Wednesday Friday schedule (though next week's Christmas extravaganza will go against this) and also I tried inking the lines on this to make them smoother, but frankly, I don't like it. They're too thick. Oh well, next comic's like this too, then for Friday's comic I'm gonna try digital retracing.

As for the comic itself, I've been wanting to do a Lord of the Rings joke (couldn't come up with a good title for it though), but I didn't want to rip off any of the jokes I've already seen. The usual joke as to why destroying the ring should've been a lot easier than it was is that the eagles could've flown them into Mordor, but they didn't feel like showing up 'til the final battle. I tried to think up some way for Zila/Frodo to be unspottable when walking through Mordor and, well, you get the idea.
