WiP shot of a SOF (No no, not the title) operator. Just felt like doing a bust shot after seeing some stills from Zero Dark Thirty. Thought the movie was alright. Working on this on and off when I feel like it...been AGES since I did some solid personal work..!Related content

The lens flare looks very realisticβalmost hand-airbrushed (if it weren't for the rigidity of the lines radiating out from the center). How did you draw that part of the image?

Hey mate. The lens flares are random photographs applied on with a filter layer in photoshop (lighten/softlight...etc), I dont think its really practical to paint that out, given the regular, yet natural look of light hitting a lens.
