loving this one, thres a real feel of action and the filter works wonderfully on this shot.

Very nice work. I guess the smog is real and not included by decrease of contrast (at least I seem to notice a lesse fogged branch on the left but as I'm too sleepy... ) was it taken at some kind of celebration or recontruction. The horeseman seems to be in confederate uniform... at least it look greyish but it can be because of the colouring. The colouring is excelent giving the idea of an old fainted photo... that feeling only fails on the fact that the image has very little grain (of course they didn't have digital cameras) and is not damaged.
The title is ok... but for such title I would have perhaps used some kind of bluish colouring and increased the contrast slightly to resemble a ghostly night rider (and perhaps some effects around him but that would fall into photomanipulation

It was a reeanctment of battle and canons were shot and lots of smoke everywhere.
Unfortunatly I lost all the pics in a reformat, but a friend has a copy of a disk.
I have the original in black and white in my gallery.
