Description
This Gemsbok was hiding in the bushes, away from the open grassland where she normally roams. This is usually an indication that she is ready to deliver her lamb. She will hide it for about two weeks before they will rejoin the herd.Related content

Really good take on this, Maresa. I like the dappling. Interesting point that the females will separate from the herd to give birth and to initially wean.
