“I’m home!” I called out tiredly as I took my running shoes off. No one answered. ‘I guess no one’s home yet’ I thought as I (very childishly mind you) climbed up the stairs, and flopped onto my bed, exasperated. I sat up and removed the book I was currently reading from the shelf above my bed. I stared in awe at the beautiful design on the front cover. The title read ‘Bloodmarked’. I had been waiting to buy this book for almost a year after I had finished reading the first one. The reason that I loved this book series so much was that the author had planned her books meticulously from start to finish, so much so that you never saw the plot twists coming! I took a deep breath and opened the book, removing the bookmark.

Suddenly the front door slammed open, and,startled, I dropped my book, then I heard someone shout ‘I’M HEREEEEEEE!!!’. With a groan, I picked my book back up, only to come to the tragic conclusion that I had lost my page, rolled my eyes onto another galaxy, and climbed out of bed, slid down the stairs, and confronted my now opera singer of a brother.
