Well, I was on vacation in St.Petersburg, I went there by train within 14 hours (Russia is big, yes xD). So I decided to spend this time by drawing Hetalia sketches in my sketchbook (mostly Russia and England xDDD).Of course, my music was with me (because I'm musical maniac xD) including Hetalia songs. ^^ Here I was inspired by song "Зима" from Character CD Vol.7 (Russia).

Oooh, I'm so glad you love Russia and Petersburg ^^ I lived in Vasil'evski ostrov, near Neva and every night walked on English embankment (it's a really beautiful street) x) I was in Peterhof during two days, had a picnic there and swam in the Gulf of Finland xD I had many adventures in Piter, so many memories... x)
May I ask you - do you moved from Russia or you visited Russia and liked it?

I went to Peterhof too! The fountaims were really beautiful but my guide and I found it kinda unfair the price for the entry: she told me (she's russian) that it should be open, like a historic place where everybody could go. ^^'
I would like to be russian, but I got just and ancestor from there and so I only visited Piter! *^* I'll spare money to go there for a linguistic trip!
And you? What do you have for other souvenirs in Piter?

Despite of my wish to go to Peterhof freely, I think price is quite fair - after all, Peterhof is a big complex, which needs maintenance, security, service and periodical restoration. And yes, as Russian I can go to Peterhof with really cheap ticket xDDD Btw, the upper garden of Peterhof is absolutely free for a visit ^^
Well, if your ancestor was Russian (if I understood you correctly), you can considered yourself almost Russian) xD
By the way, foreigners who live in Russia long enough usually started feel as Russians, and this feeling remains even if they returned to their homeland - it's a really amusing fact. I think the reason of it is a mysterious, incomprehensible (and apparently contagious

Hehe, I brought from Piter really cute clock on chain, magnet to my collection, many photos, good memories and new friends )) Hope I'll visit St.Petersburg again next year )

Yes, one of my ancestor was russian, and another from my fathers ancestor too! :'D So the way we go in the past, there are russians! :'D It's just incredible!

о да))) я без носа ток чибиков могу xD и все равно чот странное чувствуется, неправильное х) а вот за что Химаруе спасибо, так это как раз за такой выдающийся нос у России. вот читала я, как многие им возмущаются, а мне он очень нравится (так же как не менее выдающиеся брови Англии xDDD)

о чем и речь))) у нас встречаются совершенно разные лица - что у англичан, что у русских (кстати, отличить по лицу где один, а где другой маловероятно х))
так что в данном случае это хорошая такая персонализация - в черно-белой манге или зарисовках я с большей вероятностью различу Англию с Россией из-за их специфической внешности ж)

По-моему легко отличить. Есть у них что-то специфическое у англичан, красные лица, холодно-голубые глаза более мелкие черты лица, веки красные у многих британцев видела, много рыжих (такого красавца описалаXD) У нас в университе много иностранцев учатся, я сразу понимаю - кто не нашего разлива. Единственное, один раз не различила полячек, подумала русские, ну тут уж украинцы, русские, поляки - вот они точно очень похожи.

Понятно, что разные. Просто говорю, что часто вижу. Посмотреть там на барабанщика Muse, Тома Йорка из Radiohead, солиста Artic Monkeys - вот для меня обыденная британская внешность. Я, кстати, на себе отсутствие Девианта не почувствовала. Все время работал, сама узнала случайно, здесь в новых девиант-записях промелькнуло

барабанщик на одноклассника моего бывшего похож xD забавно, что у обыденной британской внешности для тебя практически отсутствуют брови, какая ирония xDDD
а для меня отсутствие ДА стало большой печалькой, у меня ящик чуть не лопнул xD петиция вроде как прошла, а вот провайдер мой, скотина, еще не расчехлился, приходится чуть ли не на собаках инет тащить на флешке >< надеюсь, что завтра восстановит доступ окончательно.
