Well, this is my VERY first piece for my AP Portfolio Concentration!!!! Which is 'Unsual Portraits'Original, I know...
Same model I used for numerous projects, she's just my bffl.......

how big is this drawing? I am in complete awe...I teach art at a private college....this gets a 100...plus extra credit.

This piece is roughtl 15in x 20in. I wish I could apply that 100 to my college courses!

I have learned that when I THINK I am not given enough credit I choose to fight to work harder. I see that drawing as a "100". I am a tough grader and a very strict teacher when it comes to detail and maturity. No matter the grade received, in my eyes it is absolutely stunning. I will be posting work soon. I hope you see my work nearly as good as yours. Have a great day, and keep doing what you do!! I love it all

How could this work possibly take 8 hours! Something like this would take far longer for myself, including the quick sketch outline. You did not trace this correct? If not, how in the world did you do it in 8 hours? What is it 5 inches by 6 inches ;o)

After seing this...I'm thinking if I should start drawing with colored pencils too, I've only done pencils so far.
What kind of paper do you use for colored pencils (the weight of the paper) ?? That looks like somewhere between 120 g - 140 g.
