Hi Margaret,
You have a good start here. A couple of things I would look at, would be proportions.
Her head's a little small for her body ( not by much ). Her face is pretty nice.
Her eyes are in proportion with her torso, It's from the bottom of her eyes to her chin that got smaller. Cover up that area and see how her eyes are in relation to her torso. Then cover up her eyes and see how her nose and mouth are out of proportion with her torso.
It's just some refining of her nostrils, and we need to see her left ear. also her left hand is a bit wide from thumb to pinky.
Her rib cage should not overlap her inner forearms; we should actually see part of her inner arms.
The fork and knife are a bit long, with the mouth of the spoon being thick around the edges, and the fork looking too flat; we should see some curving to the fork.
If you referenced a photo, I would reference actual spoons, and forks for their dimensions.
You're doing a nice job with her hair, just be sure to look at her hair line on her right temple, it reseeds just a bit much.
Something that will help if the proportions look off to you, is to step away from your illustration. Look at the whole picture.
Some times we focus on one area - the head/face, the torso, or arms, or legs; this can result in a illustration that is out of proportion.
By stepping away from our illustration we can see how the proportions look: this and experience.
I know I've said a few things here, but you're really very close to having her looking in proportion, just don't be afraid to work on those areas.
Overall this looks good, just some tweeks.
I hope I was of some help to you Margaret. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/sā¦ " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/>
