The bane of my existence but also the best thing I have created. The second DnD “based” character I created: Llyr, the water genasi druid.
He is the reason why I dropped the idea of using semi-realistic style when creating Bedelia (actually pretty much made me drop her creation all together). I was about to create him by the book and try this new style but I stopped my fandom-less, art-blocked brain and was like: are you really gonna try a new style, then be unsatisfied with it, get bored and pretty much drop the project, again? Like, why not stick to the usual just this once to motivate myself back to drawing? Also why do I have to do characters by the book always, why not creating something I just really love? And well this is “everything I love-the character”. He’s still DnD based but, I was more thinking like creating a Genshin OC or a sort of OC you adapt to many franchises for fun when I was working on him. I wanted to create a really pretty boy with a lot of my fave colors, clothing, etc. and that’s what I did. I love my boy!! (He does not care if he's addressed as "he" or "she" btw).
Too bad I make him suffer a lot all the time when I play him in his main campaign, too bad I ruin things all the time with him. He has died twice and I expect a third time next week tbh. He died so hard his appearance changed. I will show that design later. Anyways be gentle to my boy cause he deserves it. (He’s 23 yo, I’m just an old maternal being).
