Thank you! Usually a few hours. But pre-work takes far more time than colouring!

I can imagine choosing the proper colours isn't always the easiest part.

I can imagine this piece in particular was a lot of hardwork! There is so much in this image that you would have had to attend to... The colours you've chosen work so masterfully together that it's impossible to tell this wasn't a colour image at all! And the quality as well: do you have to do a lot of restoration with older images?

This picture (Freaks/1932) was found using google images,Β because someone suggested "Freaks" for me, but I didn't have any stills from that movie in my picture library.
Usually the photos I work on are sent to me, or found at online auctions.

A black and white film noir cult horror classic goes technicolour. I actually saw a 'revival' of this film at a cinema some time in the early 1960s. It was the kind of movie Forrest J. Ackerman liked to show stills from in issues of his Famous Monsters of Film Land magazine www.google.co.uk/search?q=Forr⦠. This is a film in which we could see a quadruple amputee rolling, lighting and smoking a cigarette thevaultofhorror.blogspot.co.u⦠[see No. 3] !
