Sonic Chronicles - my new Source of Inspiration

Phew... Sonic Chronicles has seriously caught me. I mean, it even made me full color a whole pic again plus a real background~ 8D; That has to be celebrated!
Some people might say this game is far away from great, but well it's their own problem if they put such high expectations on it. Everyone knows that the higher the expectation the higher the possible disappointment. SO there goes.. your own fault! FACE IT!
I personally really really like the game and it doesn't lack anything I expected it to have before, so yeah, I got no problem with it.
When I came here to *Shadowhog 's on Saturday and went to the Media Market right away to buy a DS I couldn't help but play the game all the time through. And then on Sunday I suddenly came to the point where Shade arrived for the first time and suddenly revealed her face. I was... totally shocked but amazed at the same time. My first thought was: "Shade is.. AWESOME! 8D Must draw! >w<"
When I got to know about her, she was... well cool but not that way interesting, just normal to me. But playing through the game I actually thought "Oh well.. just another evil character... no way to get a new good one, I guess..." but well.. seeing her true face I immediately changed my mind and thought: "Heck, there's still some hope!"
But well, now let's get to the picture.

__About the Picture:__I sketched this on Sunday right after I found out about Shade's true identity. Yet with all those pictures with mistakes here and there it was hard to work out a more or less perfect image, and even on Monday I was still working and fixing things here and there until I thought that it should finally be enough of the damn fixing. But then when I already started inking, I had to redo the shoes and... damn it was a pain.
But in the end I was finally able to color her and once after so long it really came out as expected or even better. Especially the eyes now totally catch me everytime I look at the picture~ o o ... after 3-5 times erasing and redrawing them XD;
Drawing a mouth that actually fits her was also a hard one since there's not one single picture of her in the game where her mouth is seen. For a moment I started wondering, if she even HAS a mouth!
Then the next challenge was waiting for me: The background. After thinking for a short while I quickly decided to draw a part of the Voxai colonies, because they're the planetoids I like the most, plus I just LOVE the Voxai! >w< No surprise that I drew one of them, right? |D
But that was the next problem. On my search for good references to draw a Voxai I either got the pixelated graphics in the game or the half pictures in the conversations... no real help, so the next period of several times drawing and erasing had started until I was finally more or less satisfied.
