Saw the show today (sorry for the double post). That line got one of the biggest laughs of the night. This song, Hasa Diga Eebowai, and Joseph Smith American Moses had me in PAIN I was laughing so hard

Amazing! I've seen your drawing many many times on google when searching for 'elder mckinley', and now I had the decency to come here and congratulate you. Elder McKinley is the best character of the show and probably one of my favourite characters of all time.Β Β
And I'm completely jealous that Rory retweeted you. Guess it's about time for me to learn to draw and send him something, maybe.
Btw, the line was taken out? (I've the comments below) really? Because in the London version it still exists! At least, existed when I watched the show in August. The English McKinley (Stephen Ashfield) is, in my opinion, almost as good as Rory himself.Β Β

Save money for it, seriously. It's absolutely fantastic. And their Elder McKinley is superb!! I'm saving as much money as I can so I can watch the show on Broadway some dayΒ Β even though my deepest dream is to watch Rory O'Malley on stageΒ Β

I saw the show last week, and that line had been taken out! WHhyyy?? Unless the actor forgot it, which i doubt.

The line was taken out. It was originally in the previews and when the show opened they dropped the line. When I asked Rory O'Malley (the actor who plays Elder McKinley) to sign my drawing he asked how I knew about it (it was on youtube for a while and I watched the end of this scene for a reference for something and heard the line). I told him that a friend of mine saw the show in previews (which they did) and told me about it. Its a shame its not in the show. Its a really funny and well delivered line.

McKinley: I think he's coming to. [to Price] Come on, Elder Price. Wake up, buddy.
Price: Wait, what?! Where am I?!
Davis: It looks like you passed out at the bus station.
Church: We were so worried!
Price: Oh I'm, I'm sorry. I'm sorry that I had a little, uh meltdown, last night. But I'm not leaving.
Elders: Oh, good, good.
Price: Yeah, I realized... that I was... That was wrong, and I'm gonna stay here aaand stick to my work!
Thomas: Oh. You had the Hell dream, didn't you?
McKinley: Was I in it?
I watched it a little less than a month ago. Maybe they put it back in?Β
