Description After modeling Sam Loover's Saloon, I wondered how a normal car would look made after it, so here it is.

Thank you, but the modeling is not quite there yet. I always leave my models in a semi-wip state

It's the law for me. I guess I'm too impatient when it comes to little details.

Thanks. I use Google Sketchup for modeling and Simlab composer for rendering.

wow thats awesome that you use sketchup. I do too, but I've never seen curves as sharp and detailed as the ones in your model. let me know if you ever make a tutorial!

Basically the short answer is that I uss the Artisan/Subdivide and Smooth plugin.

i love the design and its aerodynamic design the scoop on the door will probably help the car to cool. down the rear tires and brakes, don't take this as an insult or anything but you can improve the aerodynamic of this car by just doing a small modification on its rear like an opening to let the air of the 2 scoops out. im sorry its just that i think this car would actually have a good performance on its design and with that modification it will reduce the parachute effect., i love this car.

Thanks, glad you like it. About the scoops, you may have a point but I just adapted the design of Sam Loover's car,it's in my gallery, and I didn't think through all the features on it.
Anyway the 60s had plenty of cars with fake vents, even the Mustangs.

true but i like the design and i think you could make a high performance version of the car too , you are very good with 3d arts, cant wait to see more of your designs.

Thank you, hope all is well on your end too.
I'll be out of commission for about 3 weeks , I'll be back to my good computer on 13 January, but you can send the files whenever you want. I can share a dropbox folder with you if I haven't already.

Happy Holidays

Looks amazing, it's like a mix of a 1973 Dodge Challenger, possibly mixed with the 2011 Mustang? Those sills along the front quarter look something like a 1967 Chevrolet Stingray...
I hope you don't take as an insult. I love the models which I've named, and you executed a possible road-going version of Sam Loover's car perfectly. You brought the classic muscle car design into a new era.

Thank you. It's no insult. You have a good eye. I did take a closer look at the challenger when making this, the rest is just bits and pieces of muscle cars I have in my head. I always wanted to make some new designs in style of the 50s and 60s.

It'd be nice to see more muscle inspired designs, different to sci-fi vehicles (although they are quite awesome)

Now it really reminds me of Ed Strakers'. Definitely not, but very similar.

Now it has more similar dimensions, but it's much less streamlined.
