i love these guys. i dont think they get enough attention. I've been to Krugar myself back in 2004. I saw a pack of 4 or 5 of them running through the sticks.

They are indeed the top predators of Africa with a success kill rate of about 80%. Exceptionally bite force. And very smart.
I was lucky enough to see 3 packs of up to 15-20 individuals in the 5 days spent in Kruger. Back then I considered them quite a common view, later I found out how scarce they are...

these dogs are so different. Are there alot of them and are they similiar to a wolf? there markings are just so unusual.
