Hi friends! I have a new picture for you
This looks like matte painting This is a vertical panorama of the beautiful and meditative landscape. Beginning with water lilies and ending sky and mountains in far. This is a difficult but interesting picture with high detail and realism.Had to spend a lot of energy and effort, but I am happy to receive. Hello Maria. This is a really beautiful deviation. I uploaded something very similar a week ago and have only just seen your work now by chance in a group we both submitted to.
The composition and idea is very similar to mine. I also thought about having mountains with waterfalls.

I can tell you put in a lot of hard work into this one. I love the details and the composition is great! The idea of the vertical panorama gives a great feeling of grandeur as well. I think the perspective is a little off on the left side where the lily pads touch the edge of the image and for the rising red tower on the left. But that's just me nitpicking because you asked for critique on your front page...
Overall great work! This is something that many photomanipulators and mix media artist can aspire towards

Yes, it is a difficult artwork. I was afraid that the image will be directed in depth and disrupt the vertical perspective.
But work on every detail and the subject has helped to make such a magnificent perspective
I can agree that the left side there is a little disorder. I doubt (maybe it only seemed to me), but only the prospect of breaking the tower to the left.
Because it seems to me the other details in the norm. Unfortunately a more suitable object I could not find.
But this piece is not much stands out?

I've looked at it again, I think the left tower is fine the way it is... maybe it was just my eyes the first time around? It doesn't stand out much, in a bad way. I still stand by what I said about the lily pads but it's a very minor thing

I have to agree with the left tower being distracting, it was the first thing that my eyes were drawn too.
When the perspective of all the buildings are going one way and then there's one going the complete opposite it looks out of place in the scene.
I can see you using a light source top right yet you burned the color only on the trees closest to the front of the image yet no highlight nearest the light source.
I would never use a burn tool, it is to harsh and destroys color blending, id use a new non destructive layer and use a highlighting color over parts i wanted to light.
Also due to the angle of the sun wouldn't the ground in front of the building be in shadow?
I couldn't see anything wrong with the rest of the image, it is a beautiful piece of work, you blended the scenes flawlessly.

Unfortunately it is difficult to find a good and free stock, so I use it. If I had the opportunity I would love to replace the tower.
As for the light I used non destructive layer and never use burn tool yourself because you are right it is very spoils the picture. Another point is the clouds that make the light scattered and remove the shadow. And about the trees, it's a bit undeveloped Texture of the fog. Light I have not made on this trees.
Soon will publish my tutorial about this picture where I tell in detail how this is done and you will be able to look at the techniques that I have used and look PSD file.
