Description
Here is another image along the lines of my fan story about Sarabi's daughter Malkia.

Malkia had had a long morning of hunting with the Pridelanders near the water beds on the far end of the Pridelands, the herds were moving on but the sick or old ones stayed closer to the water so they had success this morning. But having to chase down 3 water buffalo this morning took a lot out of the teen lioness but of course the "Queen" wasn't happy. She was pregnant again and demanded a zebra for herself. She sent out her party and went along to make sure she got what she wanted.
That was fine with Malkia, it meant she might have some quiet time on her favorite cliff on the back end of Pride Rock. She started that way when she heard soft pads bounding behind her.
"Malkia! Wait up!" She turned and saw Nuka, just starting to get used to his paws running after her "Where ya going?"
"For a rest, Nuka." Malkia said, she was barely able to speak to the young cub when his mother was around, she was so critical.
"Can I come too?" Nuka asked, stopping just short of Malkia's tail. "Mama left with the other lionesses and Daddy's out with Mheetu in the pridelands."
"Doesn't you dad take you along on walks in the Pridelands?" Malkia said as they both continued walking the narrow path to the cliff.
"Usually, Dad wants to make sure I understand the pride too. But he said today was something Mheetu wanted to speak with him alone. So I had to stay here."
Malkia felt for the small cub, Scar had tried his best to make sure Nuka didn't feel left out about being King; but Nuka was too young to know or care about that. "Well come on Nuka, we'll get you cleaned up and resting before they return. I'm sure your mother wants you down for a nap anyway."
On the way to the cliff Nuka told Malkia all about how he wanted to be like his brother, Mheetu was Nuka's hero. Mheetu always included Nuka in everything and soon Malkia felt that this cub was more like Mheetu then Zira. After a while Nuka fell asleep but Malkia had become too deep in thought to feel tired so she watched over Nuka as he slept.

In my time line this happens maybe 6 months before Simba's return. Nala is still in the pride and hasn't run off. There is still some water and food in the Pride, that is why Nuka is a cubby cub. I think if he has stayed in the Pridelands he would be a full and healthy lion. This is also maybe 2-3 weeks before Mheetu's death by Zira's lioness. I have it so that Nala runs off 2-3 days before her brother's death and is gone for a few months looking and trying to find help.

Scar in my stories is also a very caring dad. He loves Nuka and Mheetu. He treats Nuka no more differently then Mheetu, but with Zira's twisted mind she always thinks Scar prefers Mheetu.
