Haha do you..get that pun?Hello, I have been busy for very long
this is my 3rd attempt doing watercolour! (yes I have recently been fascinated with it and decided to try some)I know it isn't super fantastic, but this is the best I can manage so far
So, ah feel free to give me feedback on how to watercolour better!This is Kaori from Your Lie in April, she's really amazing, to keep hanging on and living so fearlessly even though she's terminally ill and bound by hospitals. Oh btw the letter down there is her final letter to Kousei ;w;

This is such a touching piece ;w; After reading your artist note, you really captured her personality and story in this picture, it's really touching. A picture is worth a thousand words they say
I think that you could blend the clouds a bit to the background so it looks more soft, and maybe add cloud trails to add to the softness of the picture. I also noticed that part of the iv pole is missing. And the hair strands at the back look really bright in contrast to her shaded hair so I suggest to shade a bit the hair strands at the back

I think you did a great job with the watercolor! The sky is beautiful (love how you left white for the bird outlines and clouds), and I especially admire how you did the shading with the colors on the jeans and sweater. For a more 3-D look, the shoes could use a bit of shading. The violin also seems a little flat, but since this is an anime/manga fan art, that's probably OK. You made her very sweet looking, and that's great! The letter and her shadow and the blood are really well done, IMO. It's amazing she can be so hopeful in her situation, and you conveyed that well. My eye tends to look for realism, which may be unfair here, but I wish her hanging from the IV pole made more visual/physical sense. I hope to see a lot more watercolors from you! (I adore watercolor.) Β
