lel idk how to critique srey but I like pointing out the good parts of a drawing (in my POV) so that people know which parts look fine.
ok so im gonna start with the clothy part of the shoes. I think they are nicely done, you put in the details for where they were sewn and even if its just really thin or tiny, I like the lighting and shading. It really seems like cloth and not some plastic shoe if those even exist.
the shoelaces look like they are made of ribbons since they look silk (cuz of the lighting)
lastly (yep, really short feedback) the insides of the shoe. They look fine and i like the wrinkle thingy due to the sewn part (idk how to vocab)
i send thee blessings and good luck on that programming~~

Hello there. I would like to say that this is a very well done piece of realistic art. There's something about these shoes that I really like. Okay, so I like the pencil sketches that you did here. It really looks wonderful. And I also got to say, the shading is also well done as well. However, I think you could try this in color. Maybe that would've made the shoes look more interesting, but that's just my opinion and suggestion.
If I did have to criticize something, it would have to be the shape of that right shoe over there. I'm sorry if I'm nitpicking on this, but the shape of the right shoe doesn't look right. It looks more oval-shaped than a regular shoe, and I don't know if this is the way I'm seeing the picture, but part of the right shoe seems to overlap the left shoe just a little bit. Sorry if I'm being too harsh on you.
But anyway, this was a great piece of art, and I especially love those shoelaces. Keep up the good work.

Thank you very much for your comment!
Actually I'm more accustomed to using colour-pencils, but the school requires it to be drawn in pencil so I don't have much of a choice
I think you're right, there was something kind of off-putting while I was drawing this haha
but I'm glad you like it, and for your feedback too!

hi there
this is extremely well done
it has a very good feel to it and is very smooth looking
the shading is done very well and gives the piece a very realistic feel to it
some of it is a little off but difficult to notice(or i'm just seeing things)
the shoe further shoes' shape is a little off(don't know if it was on purpose or not)
it looks more round than the closer one and it kinda throws me off a little
the shoe strings are awesome and my favorite part of this piece
they very well done and are awesome
i can tell you worked hard on this piece cause of all the little details added
and good luck with the school entry
hope i was helpful

This is actually a really well done piece. Continue to study drawing/constructing forms so that you can feel the sense of depth and space.

"Realistic Shoes!" is a good rendering of a pair of sneeks, but it is also a description about the person who wears them. Personal effects from the wearer are presented in detail. The scuff marks, the worn areas and the laces, all provide character. Nicely done and do not stop drawing. Pencils are amazing for detail and texture and there are so many wonderful types and colors.

They are very realistic shoes, nice job. You could work a little bit more on the shading though, but still it looks great.

Yeah I agree the shading needs more work, thank you for the advice!

The one at the back looks a 'lil strange on the top, but we can't complain. You're wanting to get into the gaming industry like us? Ooo. What kinda games do you like/wanna design?

We love open world games, and games with a good backstory. Would you make 2D or 3D games? Tried 3D modelling once... not pretty xD

Haha what kind of 2D game ideas could be so bad? xD
Yeah it must feel really great to complete a 3D game world and then explore it!

"Collect the coins falling from the sky! No plotline, no bosses allowed! Endless crappy game!"
We were using a program called scratch where you build the game out of command blocks and variables, and the game was just SHIT.

Yeah I can imagine a game like that being used for practice..but it doesn't look very interesting xD

0% interesting, 0% fun. It was practice for the less talented members of our class, but many of us were banging our heads on our keyboards when we heard it was an assessment.

xD It was fine. Still got to be a lil bit creative. One boy turned it into a soccer game.

I'm starting animation 'n 3D modelling this year, so hopefully I'll be able to implement those into a game soon.
