I've recently fallen in love with the Puyo Puyo series (thanks, Puyo Puyo Tetris, for reminding me of its existance) and in particular, I can't get enough of Arle and Carbuncle. The two of them have appeared in EVERY Puyo Puyo game, dating all the way back to the MSX version in 1991. As tribute, here's Arle and Carbuncle in their original MSX design.
