I'm looking back at the image "Marii's Pyramid" and it's pretty tacky. As of recently, I've had better ideas for the starting area for Marii. Just to be clear, all of these temples are on little islands.

"Light of the Blades" As it says, I found an old Japanese Stone Lantern (I think) and thought a giant version of that would be pretty cool as a small temple. I didn't like the original top of it, however, so I put a decayed knight's sword on top instead. I didn't use a katana because I wanted it to be symmetrical and easily recognizable in stone. The little in the top-middle of the image is the inside.

"Temple of Lost Time" If you already guessed, this is a take on a destroyed temple that resembles the Temple of Time. I think since a lot of the stained glass is missing, the shards remaining glisten in the water like colorful stars.

Aztec/Mexican Temple: I like this design, but I don't know if I can use it. There aren't any Central American areas in development right now. That may change, but I'm not sure. Also, I have no idea what that black box thing is. It just came to me. Originally, I was thinking of the "monolith" from that movie. At some point, my brain was telling me: "Hey, put a hole in it and add wind chimes".

Greek: Just a temple designed around it's pillars.

Clock: I stopped liking the idea very quickly.
