Description I simply had to post this before season 2 starts. Quick painting of happy Luna.

First idea was to have a dark blue bg which seemed too dark for the atmosphere, and white brings out the silhouette better. This one had a tricky palette to work with, but it was a good practise.

Thanks to creators of MLP:FIM for inspiration

looking forward to submit more works tomorrow~ now I need some sleep

I absolutely do. She looks so much prettier with the smoother facial lines, and so much freer without her crown and livery collar. Keeping her shoes is just a nice little touch of style though since they don't have "real hooves" in the show. I love that playful dancing feeling and that soft, sweet look she's giving. It's as if she wants us to dance with her.
