 I guess there are several interpretations:
* Most people move to Florida to die. When a young person moves to Florida they die from the inside and wait till the body catches up
* Floridians hate Florida because its mostly hot while non-Floridians should hate Florida because they're freezing



My sister in law lives in Florida near Destin. I've been their several times and I enjoyed it very much

I have live in Miami for many years---When I was young only the very rich had air conditioning --In was hot--
We had Florida rooms --Many windows with screens to ward of the hoard of bloodthirsty mosquitoes -My favorite place to sleep
Back in the days --If you were walking down the street and heard someone speaking Spanish you looked around to see what was happening---
How---If you are walking down the street and heard someone speaking English you turn around because you probably know them--- LOL

Miami is nothing like Northern or Central Florida ---Miami is party city --Most retirees have moved to quieter places (as you say) to die --
Our Latino population loves to party and most of my extended family are Latino---I love to party---

I was in Alaska for two years and the North Atlantic for a couple of years----
Four years of freezing my but off----
It can't get too hot in Miami for me---
