ACRYLIC ON PANEL: AMARYLLIS IN VASE

Nine years ago (2011), my dearest friend Astrid died of lung cancer at the age of 57. She was a visual artist. Flowers and everyday objects have often been the subject of her work. Her graphic work, watercolors, drawings, oil and acrylic paintings form fragile and personal memories of her special life.

Since I have photographed a lot of her work, I will regularly submit one of her works as a memory of Astrid, always entitled 'In loving memory ASTRID VAN LEEST ...'
