Pissed off, Naruto looked out of the window. As expected.. he couldn't refuse those puppyeyes. Neither had Neji. Now they were in a couple of busses with half the school. Kiba kept on grinning and talking hyper actively about everything. Mostly about Kankuro tough. Naruto never even met the guy but now he even knew what color boxers he wore.

After about half an hour of listening he ignored Kiba, getting some glares from Neji who now got all his attention.

But it didn't take long to get to the village. There, everyone split up in groups and as Kiba's plan, Naruto went with both his roommates.

Having no idea what they should do there, they just started walking around.

'And he's a reaaaally good kisser you know! Some guys just.. know how to! And Kankuro's one of them you know... I mean when we-' Kiba got cut of in the middle of his sentence by a hit in the head from Neji.

'I REALLY don't wanna know!'

'You don't have to be all mean about it...' He sad pouting, while rubbing the back of his head.

'Anyway.. Look at that! Seems they've started some trouble...' Neji pointed at a broad alley where a group of students from their school stood around the entrance.

'Well.. Let's have a look...' Uninterested, Naruto started walking towards the alley. When he finally got trough the crowd he saw something that surprised him greatly.

A red-haired boy, smirking, leaned against the wall. In front of him a furious raven-haired boy.
'What's up Sasuke... Ya look kinda red...' Kiba yelled from the audience.

Sasuke turned around to scream something at him but closed his mouth immediately when he saw Naruto.

Naruto looked from Sasuke to Gaara, who still leaned against the wall, apparently very entertained. When he saw the blond he licked his lips. Naruto turned bright red.

Seeing this, Sasuke pulled up an eyebrow.

'So er.. What's going on...?' Naruto asked, trying to hide his red face.

'I was just leaving dobe...' Sasuke put his hands back in his pockets where they usually were. And started walking away.

'Sure you were... Scared?' Gaara asked mockingly,

Sasuke stopped dead in his tracks. 'I'm not scared of anything...'

'Sure you are... Like always...'

For some reason, that last sentence seemed to piss Sasuke off and with a scream of fury he launched at the goth, who ducked away. With his fists he hit the boy that now lay on the ground.

The crowd around them started to shout at them.

Sasuke grabbed a loose branch from a tree and ripped it off. He aimed at Gaara who came running at him, fists ready to hit him in the face. But then suddenly, Naruto jumped between the two.

But for Sasuke, it was to late to stop. With a bashing sound, he hit Naruto's skull. The boy was beaten against the wall in front of him, being knocked out.

The crowd fell silence. A flicker of shock appeared in Gaara's eyes, but then he continued what he was doing and hit Sasuke so hard, the raven-haired boy fell back. He then ran over to Naruto and turned him around so he lay on his back.

His eyes were closed peacefully. He could have been sleeping if it wasn't for the blood coming from a wound on his forehead.

'...Naruto?' He asked doubtfully.

'Somebody call an ambulance!' Someone from the audience yelled. And only minutes later they heard sirens.

Sasuke sat up straight a couple of meters away from the boy he'd just hit. Ruefully that this was his fault. He watched Gaara actually showed emotions and cared for Naruto. He whispered something to him and had laid his bleeding head in his lap until the ambulance came.

When Naruto was taken away, the crowd fell apart. The mood was dead and everybody returned to the busstop to go back to the school.

When he opened his eyes, he found himself in a hospitalbed. He was wearing white pajamas and there was bandage wrapped around his head.

'Finally awake ha...' The voice of the principal suddenly sounded.

Naruto turned his head. Tsunade sat there, wearing her usual black skirt and matching jacket. With hair in two ponytails and a face that looked way younger then she actually was.

'What.. What happened?'

'You have a brain concussion... Can't you remember anything? About Gaara and Sasuke?'

Naruto closed his eyes in concentration. Searching trough his memory's until the image he found popped up. The branch coming towards his face, Sasuke's eyes that widened in shock.

'Sasuke hit me... With a branch...'

Tsunade burst out in laughter from the resentment in his voice. 'Yeah he did didn't he? Probably gonna have to give him detention for that.. And Gaara to, for starting a fight..'

'Gaara? What happened to him?'

Tsunade smiled. 'It was very strange.. He knocked Sasuke down... And after that he took care of you..'

Naruto''s eyes widened.

'Yeah seriously... It seemed as if he cared about you... He was here a couple of hours ago... Making sure you were okay.. But I had to send him away again because it's after 11 and the lights are out already..'

'Gaara... was here?' Naruto was shocked, why was Gaara so nice? He was after all.. mean and bitter...

'Yeah..' Tsunade got up from her chair. 'I think it's a good thing.. Maybe more good things.. In your favor, could come from this...'

Questioningly, Naruto looked at her.

'You'll see... I'm never wrong about something like this!' She ran her hand trough Naruto's messy hair. 'Just stay here for the night.. Then you can go back to your room tomorrow...' And she walked away.

'COOMING' Kiba yelled when a knock on the door sounded. He quickly pulled a t-shirt over his head and walked to the door.

Impatiently, someone knocked again.

'I already said I was comi- KANKURO!' Kiba jumped on top of his boyfriend so the both of them fell over. 'What are youu doing here?'

'Auwtch... Can't I come by just for fun?'

Naruto wasn't interested in the scene between the two lovers and he continued to watch tv while devouring a huge bucket of icecream. Until someone suddenly hugged him from the back.

'What the... SASUKE?' Naruto literally fell from the couch from shock.

The raven-haired boy grinned. 'Good to see you dobe!'

'What are you doing here...' Naruto rubbed his painful backside and sat back down on the couch. He grabbed the bucket of ice and continued eating, while watching Sasuke with hawkeyes.

'My roommate had to see his boyfriend so I had to come with him...'

'You're... Kankuro's roommate?' Naruto asked while pointing at Sasuke with a spoon.

Sasuke looked at the object pointed at him and rolled his eyes. 'Yes he is... Anyway.. I wanted to ehm.. Apologize... For hitting you into the..hospital...'

Naruto just shrugged. His hand unconsciously went to the bondage on his forehead.

'It's not completely my fault!' Sasuke leaned forwards. 'Gaara started it!'

'You hit him first remember...?'

'Yeah but he said something.......'

'Yeaaaah what was that all about anyway?'

'Something from the past... never mind that.. I'm just warning you... Gaara is really freaky.. He has done stuff you can't even imagine!'

'I'm used to stuff....' Naruto mumbled, thinking about his youth.

'What?'

'Eh nothing.. But anyway.. I don't see Gaara as someone to fear... You're more of an asshole then he is anyway...'

Sasuke grinned. 'That's what you say now.... Just wait...' He leaned over Naruto, who backed up, spoon still in his mouth. When he was face to face, staring in those bright blue eyes, he wiped his finger over Naruto's lips, retrieving some left over icecream, then put his finger into his own mouth.

A blush appeared on Naruto's face, thinking that looked really.. really cute.

Sasuke grinned again, then stepped back. 'See ya dobe...' He walked over to his roommate, grabbed him by the back of his shirt and pulled him away. 'Let's go you flirt!'

'W-wait a second! Sasukeeee! I WASN'T FINISHED!'

'...Byee honey...' Kiba said, pouting.
