Description
These are some sketches I did to study a little more a character of mine, Anthony Marshall, from my Mayi comic strips. I really like how he has evolved. At the beginning, I was planning to draw him in a more serious-old-comic style, as a homage to serious-styled characters and classic actors, but as time went by, his personality has required a more comical and broader range of exaggerated expressions, so this is what came out from that seek. Éstos son unos sketches que hice para estudiar un poco más a un personaje mío, Anthony Marshall, de mis tiras cómicas de Mayi. Realmente me gusta cómo ha evolucionado. Al principio, planeaba dibujarlo en un estilo serio de cómic antiguo, como un homenaje a los actores clásicos y a los personajes de estilo serio, pero conforme pasó el tiempo, su personalidad requirió un rango más amplio y cómico de expresiones exageradas, así que éste es el resultado de esa búsqueda. También me gusta que luce más alegre y joven ^_^

Is fedmus short for his species?

Previously, I had a theory that Fedmus is shorter than the others of his species either because of sexual dimorphism, he's a genetical experiment, or he's a child, and will grow to be 2 metres tall and his skin will become white.

What did Mayi do to him when she kidnapped him?
When I think about it, Mayi's obsession with him would be a LOT creepier if she was older.
It reminds me of that Stephen king novel.

The fourth one in the bottom looks like he's in a straitjacket. What usually happens when Mayi kidnappes him?

Ohh! That's a nice concept! Love how elephants are painted in India XP I took some inspiration from that for my Dino project myself XD

I can totally see these sketches of this character and then being the younger version of Sinestro when he was just started training with Abin Sur.

Yeah, absolutely! XD
It's curious, though... I created this character years before I even met the Green Lantern comics. He didn't look like this when I first drew him. When I met Sinestro at the GL movie, I just thought.. hm.. Mark Strong looks so great with that mustache X3 So I tried to improve Anthony's design basing myself on Mark Strong, heh heh. This is the result, and I really like it XD

Yeah, finding time for me has been challenging. With family, and working all day in photoshop, it is hard to carve out time to draw anything just for me anymore. I'm trying though.
