i doubt that this was your goal, and it's probably just the way it was shot, but she looks drunk, and that's amusing. kind of like the secret life behind the regal image, since back then you would never see someone, especially a woman, from this level of society displaying any sign of inebriation.

I love this dolls renaissance face. It reminds me of the faces of women from the Old Masters...the soft features, eyes far apart and heavily lidded. Beautiful artistry here, in every aspect of the piece.

Either way this is amazingly gorgeous! The posture is so expressive and the details of the doll's skin (face, neck, shoulders, chest, hands, and feet) are awe inspiring.
