Request from , though I had a pretty good amount of personal feelings (I've been wanting to draw this for a while now
).He said that since I did my Mother and Daughter drawing, with Kya as the daughter and Katara as the mother, I should do one where Kya's the mother and Katara's the daughter.
And voila!
I hope you don't mind that I added Sokka! I thought it would be more cute. Obviously he has no clue how to make a braid, poor thing.
I didn't use any refference for the igloo, I just made it up myself. In the Southern Raiders episode, when Katara has that flashback, their igloo had lots of things, carpets, materials and clothing hung onto the walls. It would've looked very crowded and messy, plus I would have had to work my ass off really hard and I'm still not that good at backgrounds. So I would've had to do the work for a commission, not a request.
Anyway, the texture's from my best buddy, Google.
Why do I love so much to draw wintery things in the middle of summer... I have no freakin' idea.

So CUTE! When I saw this I was like "Awww" Poor thing Sokka. It looks like he is trying his best but he just doesn't get it right which makes this drawing even cuter.
