This was taken at my favorite local area park. I like how the 'gator is trying to catch some rays! I like the ripples in the water and the reflection.

Thank you! I loved the ripples in the water too. ...funny thing was there wasn't anything to make it obvious what caused the ripples (no boats, nothing).

this one i think you can see the shape of the head better. in the other pic, the head blended in with its surroundings almost.

Thats so cool that you've got wild gators. I live in NE Oklahoma and we don't have wild gators but I help take care of a couple rescued alligators at a wildlife sanctuary I work at.
