k..this is really just a corner cropped from a picture i drew earlier today. She's really the only part i want to show.interperate her emotion as you will, but let me know what you think she might be thinking.
Edit: yes, i know the pencil is light. Full view please.

She looks disconcerted, as though rallying the courage to either say something, or stay quite. What gives it this look, at least to me, is the knitted eyebrows, closed eyes, and straight mouth. It looks as though her hand is on the head of someone she loves.

I've had a little instruction on how to draw from my mother and took several art classes in high school, and even at my best my drawings weren't nearly as nice as yours. So, yes, you are really that good!

She looks like she's thinking somethig along the lines of 'I'm sorry, but I must go on." like, maybe she stopped someone from doing something, but knows she still has to go war or something?
