I finished this the other day. I love how this turned out. This turned out better than the Mario pic in my opinion.
Anyways, you those who aren't aware, ever since 3D World and her reveal in Smash 4. I kept on saying in alot of comments "Rosalina's being an attention hog lately (That's's the polite way of saying it). SHe's stealing Princess Daisy's thunder!" In reality, I don't hate Rosalina. She's actually alright in my book. She's one of the best playable characters in 3D World. But I feel she's basically stealing Daisy's thunder. Daisy has been in more games than Rosalina. Granted, they were only spin-off titles but still. I was hoping for Daisy to be in Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon were Luigi had to rescue her from King Boo. But no, Nintendo decided to have King Boo trap Mario in a painting................AGAIN! I think Mario is smart enough to not let himself get captured by the Boos again. And I was hoping for Daisy to be in 3D World (As the Kinapee) but they went with the Sprixes (which I find to be dull). Then I thought "Hey maybe Daisy will be playable!" Nope! They went with Rosalina. I still have fun playing as her but I was pissed at first. Then her reveal in Smash 4 happened and I was super pissed. I will admit Rosalina looks like she's going to be fun to play as but Daisy would of been fun to play as "She'd be a mixture of Luigi and Peach". I'm hoping Nintendo will make Daisy playable in Smash 4. She'd kick butt.

i'm faving your pic, but i'm discounting the info underneath. to believe daisy has any significant role in the Mario universe is like saying waluigi is marios greatest nemesis. truth is neither waluigi or daisy were made to be as major characters, just clones of luigi and peach and if your a fan of fighters or narratives, clones are pretty useless fillers. Rosalina had a significant title to her first appearance in Galaxy that shes her own character with her own world and her own role. shes getting a lot of attention and i'm rather glad to see that, she deserves it

Princess Daisy had a significant role. Super Mario Land was her debut. I wish they'd bring her back as a damsel in distress again (In Luigi's Mansion 3 of course).
I can't really say Rosalina deserves these roles (playable in Smash 4 and playable in 3D World) but she the funnest to play as in 3D World and I bet she'll be a great fighter. Her sudden popularity is a kick in the crotch for Daisy fans since she's been around longer and deserves to be in a non-spin off game.
With Waluigi I can care less. Though I wish he would be in a main game (like trying to rescue Daisy before Luigi but failing badly) he started as a spin off character and was meant to be one. I didn't care that he wasn't in Mario Kart 7. It was weird since his Pinball level was in it but not him but it didn't effect me.

I know of daisys role in super Mario land. that said I can't say she was a main stay.i will however praise your idea on luigi and daisy being an alternate storyline. I can't remember which paper Mario it was but when you meet up with luigi, he describes his adventures which was immensely similar to marios.(I think it was the 1000 year door) he describes his adventure almost word for word but with suddle changes like the items he collected were different from marios and daisy was the one he was helping out. now waluigi is a supposed partner in crime of warios. I still don't like the thought of him getting any spotlight but it him and wario do have there own outing, it might be interesting

AS for your drawing I can so tell you used the Mario Galaxy instruction manual for that. I did myself. But it's pretty good. She's much easier to draw than Peach cause you only have to do one eye. Her dress and hair are also much more fun.
As for your rant, I don't compare Daisy and Rosalina. Rosaline is princess-like in design but she is not a princess, she is matriarch of the lumas. Daisy is more of Peach's counterpart and that's why they don't have much place for her beyond the spin-offs. Kinda like Waluigi. Both of them don't have anybody willing to develop them beyond the positions they appeal to for the audiences who want a greater selection in the spin-offs.
Rosalina has some backstory and Nintendo knows to capitalize on that. I agree Daisy in 3D world would make more sense, and Rosalina not being a big fighter would have made more sense as an assist trophy in Smash Bros. But they want the character to flourish, and in light of the time I've actually spent paying attention to her actual personality, I highly endorse the direction.
Daisy may still have her day, but it's not like Rosalina stole anything from her. It's just a matter of fact they don't feel it necessary to promote the princess of Sarasaland. So I don't think it's fair to hate one over the other.

It'd be nice to have Daisy in the games, I miss her. :c When I found out Rosalina was in SSB4, I was kind of happy, but I wanted Daisy, and so did my little sister. But wouldn't it make more sense to have Daisy in 3D land better than Rosalina? Cause you know, Mario, Peach, Luigi, Daisy, Toad?

Sonic's not to bad, and at least your Mario sketch looks like Mario. When I tryed drawing Mario it just ended up looking more like Luigi. XD
