Long time lurker, I broke the silence because I realise it's the 3rd time I make to myself the same comment and I feel like sharing it:
I'm a french person (living in the US) and your Joker so soooo very much like a well made caricature of our actual president, Nicolas Sarkozy, including in the crasy smile aspect.

This reminds me of an old pulp novel from the '30's, with the hero (and heroine?) being menaced by some ominous mastermind villain. Most depictions of Joker present him as more annoying than dangerous. Yours re-establishes his threatening nature; he's intelligent as well as moon-bat crazy. I like also the sense of scrambling given to the heroes, almost as if they suddenly realize they're in a deathtrap.
Nice, dramatic work.
The square-jawed Batman would look good by itself, as would the wonderfully endowed Selina, but the total package is delightful.
Did you shade Joker with hatching, as opposed to markers? Hmm...

there's some marker in there, but i'm slowly moving away from using them too much, and relying more on just inks.

I need to learn how to use a brush with ink. Damn pens is all I know. This looked like fun. Great focal point.

you should definitely give it a try. you might like it. flows nice, can vary the line weight easier. some people do it with the brush pen, but i can't use those things lol.
