Description "Not everyone can become a great artist, but a great artist can come from anywhere"

My favorite Pixar movie
It actually shares the top spot with Incredibles and Toy Story(ies), but I think Ratatouille is the better one of them. It certainly is Pixar's most mature film.

So here it is.. Gusteau's.. inspired by the Eiffel Tower.
I'm still not sure how I feel about this one though.. I may still make some changes

Pixar Establishments:
-Pizza Planet
-Harryhausen's
-Cozy Cone
-Sunnyside
-Gusteau's
-Al's Toy Barn

Funny how I see one of these Pixar posters of yours, convinced that THAT one is my favorite, then I stumble upon another one that I love even more.

I really like this one; though, because of the colors, when I look at it, my mind goes straight to Ego, instead of Gusteau, lol.

I love this poster, but I just can't agree that it's Pixar's most mature film. I think it would be Toy Story 3. Odd, I know, seeing as its main stars are the toys that we all know and love from our childhoods, but... I think TS3 had some pretty grown-up heavyweight themes behind its laughs.

you could be right, you know. I had already made up my mind about this before TS3 came out.. I need to rethink this.
I think they can share the "most mature" title
and thanks

Ooh, loving this.

But, uh, most mature film? I would think that'd be Incredibles. I mean, there's a deleted scene from it where Helen asks Bob right out if he's having an affair with another woman.

MarioGraciotti In reply to FaithFirefly [2011-03-26 11:38:39 +0000 UTC]

I see where you're coming from, but I wouldn't say Incredibles is their most mature film. I'd put TS3, Up, Wall-e and Ratatouille all above it in that list.
But you know, to each their own opinion

and thank you

I love the spotlight and the highlights on the frames. It reminds me of the L'arc de Triumph with the architectural structure of the Eiffel Tower. Very nice.

Very sexy. I can see what means about the colour scheme. I like it.

If you're still looking to play around with it, I reckon it's perhaps a bit 'too' geometric. You're spot on with the embellishment, and I particularly like the arch, but I think it might benefit from being more 'floral'. Almost Art Nouveau.

P.S. the spotlights are a gorgeous touch. I'd love to see more in this series.

yeah, I see what you're saying about the geometric/floral arch.. I added some small details, but nothing drastic.
I still want to try and make a poster more in the style you're talking about

Woah, looks fancy! (for lack of a better word)

When you told me about it, I was almost sure you'd use that coppery/warmish colours they have going on the kitchen, though now that I think about it, makes little sense.

I like this a lot!
