Katara of the Southern Water Tribe

This is Katara from Avatar: The Last Airbender, she is a master waterbender who travels the world alongside aang and his friends and teaches the young avatar how to waterbend. She is fierce and determined despite her young age and just like her element is quick to adapt to any environment or situation. Her greatest characteristic is her perseverance to help others in need and protect everyone.

This is my first Avatar: TLA piece of fanart that I've submitted. Ever since I first started watching this show I fell in love with it. I have never been so enthralled in such a rich and vibrant universe full of lovable and fluid cast of characters. It's a show I definitely recommend to everyone, you wont regret it. I drew Katara here in a fierce battle pose waterbending her trademark octopus form while bending water in an upwards spiral towards her right palm ( perhaps for another devastating attack ). I worked for days on this so I think I really put more effort in this than any other art piece. I'm quite proud of it. Btw, I had so much fun drawing water you should definitely try it. As always, comments, faves, and critiques are welcome. Enjoy.
