I love the new designs of the Old Avatar Gaang. After seeing them and jumping for joy I just had to draw them all so here's Katara, the Waterbending Master of the Southern Water Tribe. I drew her perched atop a nearby iceberg or snow mountain or something like that bending some water. Another noticeable difference is that I departed from my usual style and opted for a deep anime style. I think it turned out quite nice. About the only thing I don't like is that her leg looks like its stuck in the ice. oh well. I also wrote her name in chinese characters at the top left corner. I hope thats how its spelled.

EDIT: 7/31/12- Changed it so the head doesn't look too weird anymore. I hope it looks better now. Thanks for your feedback.

Done with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop CS5.
