I find it pretty cool that Mametchi is a playable character in a Mario game(Mario Kart Arcade GP 2).

Nice! I kinda wish I have a Tamagotchi toy but I had a Nano puppy toy once and I have a Pokemon Pikachu 2. I'm also getting a Meloditchi Tamagotchi plushie in the mail soon.

Do you mean my "Pichu Egg Hatched" drawing? If so, then it wasn't supposed to be a Shiny Pichu. It's supposed to be a normal yellow colored Pichu. If it was shiny, I would have used a sightly darker yellow colored pencil(golden yellow) and put shiny stars around it.

Mametchi was added in Mario Kart Arcade GP 2 because Namco was merged with Bandai and the game was developed by "Namco Bandai". You can read about here- [link]
Also Mario Kart Arcade GP 2 is pretty rare to find in places that has arcade games.

He is a cute character. He was also pretty cute in the Japanese anime as well.
It's pretty cool that he's a playable character in Mario Kart Arcade GP 2.

Thanks! I haven't played a Tamagotchi but I did played a Nano when I was a kid though(until it stop working). I also played a Pokemon Pikachu as well.
But it would be nice for me to own one though. If I could get one since I heard they stop making them in the US.

And hehe, I actually got into the anime recently after I found the Japanese songs/clips on Youtube(and the fact that Mametchi appeared in a Mario game). I even seen A LOT of Japanese episodes at a certain site.
