Description A basic drawing of Yoshi and Baby Mario traveling around Yoshi's Island.

The background is based on the first level, "Make Eggs, Throw Eggs". And yes I know Baby Mario didn't have his overalls in the game, I just prefer drawing him with the overalls.

Thanks! It was my first SNES game I've owned.

But my first one I've played was Super Mario All Stars+World at someone's house.

My first SNES game was Super Mario All Stars/Super Mario World!  My second was Kirby's Dream Course.  :3


I also have Yoshi's island, it's still in my top 5 fav games of all time!

Indeed, it is! I love this game since I was kid.
It was my first video game that I owned when I got my own SNES.

It's one of my favorite games on the Super Nintendo! ^^ I also have the GBA port. My brother or my mom beat the Super Nintendo one. I'm stuck on the GBA one. I have Yoshi's Island DS, it was okay. Not as good as the original but still a decent game. I'm stuck on World 5-6 though.

It's a classic masterpiece. I definitely reccomend it!
The gameplay is great, the soundtrack is cool, it has great difficulty to get 100%, and the bosses are epic especially the final one. You can check it out on Youtube. It's for Super Nintendo and Game Boy Advance. If you own the 3DS and connect to the EShop before August 11th 2011, you would've got it also for the 3DS.

It's also the first game I ever OWNED. But the first game I PLAYED was Super Mario All Stars+World.

There's also sequel for DS called Yoshi's Island DS. It's pretty good and a lot harder but I recommend playing the first one first.

Yeah, it's one of my all time favorites. I love the gameplay, levels, music, difficulty, and the story.

I had quite a childhood playing Yoshi's Island for the SNES. It was actually the first video game I've ever OWNED!

I can't remember my first game ever.
It was either a first generation Pokemon game, or Yoshi's Island as well.
I believe the first game I ever played was some computer game. Or tetris. c:

It's one of my favorites too. It was actually the first video game I've ever OWNED in my life along with the SNES. I still have it since 1995 or 1996.

But the first video game I've ever PLAYED was "Super Mario All Stars+World" at my cousin's house, which got me hooked on video games and the Mario series since then.
