After the Global Freeze, where he almost loses his partner, he was appointed for the Kamen Rider Drive Project, but was unable of becoming Drive due to compatibility problems. Anyways, he had to help Kiriko/Drive, alongside Mario Satoshi Matsumaru-kun in order to stop the Roidmudes. Time later, he would receive his own Drive-Driver for becoming a second Drive, naming himself as Kamen Rider Drive-Nigo. He now can fight alongside Kiriko/Drive in the fight against the Roidmudes. He shares the same abilities with the first version (the one used by Kiriko), and has the same level of power and speed, but the only thing which makes him have a balance with her and her intelligence, is his big-heart, which also helps Kiriko becomes more open to others (but without becoming emotionally weaker), while he also understands more about her point of view with the time, and manages to become in a version of her.
