Let's be honest, Super Mario Odyssey's original ending was... unsatisfactory. Everything about it.

(Spoilers for the ending of O. ahead)
Firstly, Peach nearly left Mario to die on the moon with Bowser. While it's understandable that she rejected Mario and Bowser, there's no excuse for abandoning them. Additionally, it made Mario look like a desperate pleb due to his reaction when Bowser proposed to Peach. Some would say he should've let Peach be instead of sinking to Bowser's level and shoving flowers in her face as well, but can you really blame Mario? If he really had been secure about Peach's affections, he wouldn't have acted that way, now would he? That alone questions Mario and Peach's relationship they supposedly had.

When I drew the original image , I expected Odyssey to end differently (like many others did too), but, on the other hand, I'm actually somewhat glad SMO ended the way it did. I guess it makes this thingy here a viable option (still), lol

A collaboration with Super "Jumpman" Mario . I made the old pic with regular colouring pencils, he coloured and edited it digitally; overall, he did one fine job, don't you think?
