Description
Normally, I don't like watching horror films a lot. They give me a heart attack, but recently, I have checked out Phenomena (1987 English-language Italian film with Jennifer Connelly) and 1942 version of Cat People lately, and I was impressed by the both of them (though I have to watch them all over again). When I came across this meme, I thought why not give it a try?
Plus, I was inspired by JonTron's funny Halloween special review of the SNES version of Clock Tower: First Fear, and made this out of the review. Check it out here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=foXTsD… .
Not the Scissorman! S-s-s-Scissorman!!! Where's a piece of ham when we need one now?!?
MariposaLass-93 Productions presents: The Attack of the Scissorman!
Synopsis:
A group of tourists ventures into the wilderness of Oslo, Norway; and stumbles upon a deserted mansion called The Barrows Mansion or Clock Tower for its ominous clock tower. While many are anxious about this place, two travelers in the same group, Andrea Hidalgo (Isabel Miravelez) & Wallace Carter (Harry Potter), have a bad feeling about the place the moment their group entered the mansion. They try to call for help, but no one can hear them.
Then just a few minutes after they arrived, their tour guide disappears and one of their travel companions gets killed off by the mysterious creature armed with a huge pair of scissors called the Scissorman. This causes the group to split into a few smaller groups, and it's now up to Andrea, Wallace and their other companions to solve the mystery behind the Barrows Mansion, try to find their missing companions, uncover the deadly mysteries and secrets of the Barrows Mansion & Scissorman himself, and get out of the place alive before he (Scissorman) will get them next in his killing spree...
The Cast:
The Heroine: Isabel Miravelez (Ikaw Lamang) as Andrea Hidalgo (also Ikaw Lamang). I'm pretending Andrea is Isabel stuck in the present day, so why not pretend that Wallace is Harry with no glasses, scar and powers, yet very snarky! Jennifer Corvino outwitted her evil teacher and her son, Sidney Porter manages to kill off the people pretending to be Ghostface, so why not have Andrea/Isabel getting rid of Scissorman too?
The Love Interest: Harry Potter (Harry Potter series) as Wallace Carter (What If/ The F Word). Same as with Isabel/Andrea above. No powers, no scar, no glasses: just pure deadpan snarkiness galore! Romance sub-plot: Harry/Wallace and Isabel/Andrea became close friends during the first part of the trip to Norway, and they soon fall in love for each other as the story progresses. And together, they'll defeat Scissorman!!!
The Main Villain: Bobby Barrows a.k.a. The First Clock Tower Scissorman (Clock Tower: First Fear). He has a pair of giant scissors and will kill anyone by any means, with or without scissors. He will try to come after you on your heels, no matter how fast you can and where are you fleeing to, unless you count on that Clock Tower, though... Plus, the backstory of him, his family (Mary, Spencer, and Dan), and the Barrows Mansion will be the same as the videogame, only that Jennifer Simpson is out of the equation and the travel tour group are entangled into Mary's plot to have him (& Dan) kill them as demonic sacrifice.
The Whore: Holli Would (Cool World). I hate Cool World, even though I saw it a few times and own a video CD of it. She disregarded Frank Harris' disgust for her & law concerns, raped Jack Deebs to be human, and literally almost caused the apocalypse by getting the Spike to stabilize her form. Seriously! She just deserves it, one way or the other.
The Couple Who Hates Each Other (to Death): Dick Dastardly (Wacky Races) & Sunshine Goodness (Foodfight!). Dick Dastardly killed Dex Dogtective in the past and forced Sunshine to be his girlfriend, even r-a-p-e-d her. She gets a lot of beating from him, as well as earning the disgusted irk from juvie punk Duncan. Then he tries to kiss her while outside near the pool when Scissorman attacks... The inspiration behind this: 50 Hell No Shades of Grey!!!
The One Who Knows Everything, but (Almost) Nobody Listens to 'Em: I.M. Weasel (I Am Weasel). Weasel is a genius, yet (almost) everyone doesn't want to listen to the smart talking anthro weasel, until it's almost too late. Friends with I.R. Baboon (who is also his own personal assistant) and Mace Windu (they act as the adult guardians for the younger tourists & the group in general).
The One Who Knows Everything, but Doesn't Say Anything: Wile E. Coyote (Looney Tunes). He is very intelligent: a super genius, Esquire. No lying about it. But he rather be planning on capturing the Road Runner than helping out. Or trying to exterminate Bugs Bunny in one Bugs Bunny short, if you're wondering: he did try to destroy Bugs there. Then a visit to the piano room just went wrong...
The One Who Never Listens: Gaston (Disney's Beauty and the Beast). As much as I hate his guts, I like him as one of my all-time favorite Disney villains and all-time favorite fictional villains in general. Besides, no one is better than Gaston, at least in his brain after all. Too bad, he'll die a cruel death though... Alas, poor Gaston! Dying in vain, murdered by the clutches of the Scissorman.
The One Who Thinks It's Safe, but It Isn't: I.R. Baboon (I Am Weasel). He's way too naive to know left from right, danger from safety, but that's how I love him. He'll survive the ordeal, though. Also Weasel's personal assistant/ friend. 'I.R. is the name, for I.R. Baboon!!!' (runs into some random pile of boxes or something else (as long there's no Scissorman) for comedic effect)
The Idiot Who Goes Off By Himself: Billy (The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy). He's too dumb to live. And I also hate him too. I don't like Grim Adventures to be frankly honest. I could have add in Mandy here too, but she's just too smart and cynical for being a victim of Scissorman & she would be Billy's security blanket all the time, and he would survive the massacre, mainly because of Mandy alone, for sure. So I had to cut him off from her anyway.
The First Victim: Carrie White (Carrie). She died in the end of her book and most film adaptations, so sorry, Carrie fans. She just didn't stand a chance at all. Even with her telekinetic powers. I mean, really: Why did she even went to some dark & creepy place in the Barrows Mansion where no one can hear her scream for help so badly, only to be murdered by Scissorman? Oh dear me...
The Curious One: Princess Sofia (Sofia the First). She would be tagging along a lot for the journey & she is of the inquisitive kind, learning doesn't end in the classroom or Princess Academy, ya hear? Friends with Harry/Wallace, Isabel/Andrea, Duncan (who sees her as a little sister he never had & acts as her make-shift bodyguard: her step-dad King Randolph II is the king of the kingdom of Avalor), Taranee, Beast Boy, Bud and Jenny, plus Billy likes her, but he couldn't spill it out to her or anyone for that matter. Unlike most curious ones who unknowingly get themselves killed by mere stupidity, she knows her limits exactly, and is willing to be vigilant as much as possible (although Duncan pretty much has her back though): as added bonus for the group, she has the Amulet of Avalor for extra protection and guidance.
The Coffee Drunkard: Bud Frump (How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Christopher Hanke version). Coffee is the New Alcohol, no really! I know he is a bud guy in the musical, but I felt bad for him after looking at the synopsis for the musical (Finch is so annoying, but Danny Radcliffe made him less annoying last 2011 - early 2012!), plus I can tell that Christopher Hanke did a great job playing Bud, as evident in some segments of his vlogs on Broadway.Com for the musical: Frump Tower. He's going to be Harry/Wallace's coffee-addicted street smart pal.
The Prankster: Beast Boy (Teen Titans, 2000's version). He'll keep everyone's spirits high and give Scissorman a very big headache. Seriously, this guy is a wild ball of energy and high-tailing pranks. I didn't use the TTG! version of him for sure. Also one of Harry/Wallace and Isabel/Andrea's friends.
The Nerd: Taranee Cook (WITCH). Love the comics a lot growing up (I didn't got to read the rest of the comics after the Ragalong saga was translated into English, for unknown reasons; Why, Disney Italia!?! Why!?!), and she's very clever (the Watson to Weasel's Sherlock), but try not to mess with her though. Friends with Bud, Jenny, Sofia, Beast Boy, Harry/Wallace, & Isabel/Andrea; also Duncan's crush. Plus, she's also the Guardian of Fire in her series, so Scissorman should watch out for her flames. Don't you dare piss off the Fire Guardian, Scissorman!!!
The @$$hole: Invader Zim (Invader Zim). He's so annoying and thinks Irkens are better than humans and anthro animals combined. Unfortunately, his huge ego and pompous attitude, as well as the fact he's a green alien pain in the neck, didn't spare him from being in the Scissorman's killing list...
The Angry One: Duncan (Total Drama series). He has a lot of angst going on. Also one of Isabel/Andrea and especially Harry/Wallace's pals (the angsty Jerk with the Heart of Gold juvenile punk pal), and has a crush for Taranee. Has a big bro instinct for and a sibling-like friendship with Princess Sofia, even acting as her bodyguard of sorts. Hates Sunshine Mary-Sue Goodness though, for being too Mary Sue-ish and an annoying Stepford Smiler!!!
The Responsible One: Jenny Silverfur-Snooper (JENNY-87 's OC). Very dependable, smart, courageous (despite being the only one in the group to have a confirmed diagnosis for Autism) and stable-minded, also Andrea/Isabel's close and best anthro cat friend. Definitely the Only Sane One of the group.
The Authority Figure: Mace Windu (Star Wars Prequels (pre-Disney edition)). all the way, and a lot of older Jedi knights are filled to the brim with wisdom. When their tour guide goes missing (& it's later revealed that they got killed by the Scissorman, moments after Carrie's death), the Jedi steps in to look after the motley crew of foreign tourists, along with I.M. Weasel!
The Redeemed 'Bad' Guy: Nathaniel (Enchanted). Love his Heel-Face Turn after realizing how cruel Queen Narissa is in his film. Also, the bus driver of the tour bus for the main cast. Going to be the Sacrificial Lion in the end. (SPOILER!!!)
