Thanks! I have a particular devotion to Freyr, and this is a piece I have on my altar for him, so I'm always glad when people like this one!

Oh, how fabulous :woot!: Save reuploading and all that. Lovely!
As far as devotionals go... well, that's why Frigga's on my to-do list. I'm in the compiling stages with a co-author of putting a volume together for her... and I plan on putting out a call for submissions for a Freya devotional by the end of next week. My beloved Frey has been getting some wonderful attention of late, but his sister deserves some love, too!

Wow, that´s great! A Frigga AND a Freya devotional in the works! You sure do keep busy. I´d love to contribute, and I can post your call for submissions to Odin´s Gift (and forward it on a few lists if you like). Do let me know when the time comes.

Oh yes, it's super-fun to go from garden-variety heathen witch (admittedly, doing some of Frigga's Work, but She was always more low-key with me than Freyja's being) to having a divine to-do list... but I seem to be lucky enough to be beginning to find people who can empathize, at least. I appreciate the thoughts -- and our ongoing conversations in general!

You've had me absolutely boggling at the idea of 'atheist heathens', but apparently Talas has encountered them, too. I suppose there's room for all kinds, as my grandmother would have said...!
Yes, I'm in Ireland and yes, I am, technically, Irish -- it's quite a long story. I was raised in England until my very early teens and then spent my teens to mid-twenties in Canada and the US. Talas is American. Living in Ireland, I'm quite aware of how Irish and how /not/ Irish I am. One of my teachers here is a very Irish Morriganswoman, for example...
Germany, hm? Quite close then! If we ever end up in the same place at the same time, we should try to say hello to one another!

Wow, you´ve seen quite a bit of the English-speaking world, then! I´ve only been to European countries on holidays in my earlier years, or to meet other heathens in the last years, but I´ve never actually lived outside of Germany.
Definitely - If you ever pass Frankfurt, by airport or otherwise, you´re cordially invited to come visit us, or we´ll come to the airport for a coffee in between flights. Michael and I have grown rather travel-lazy, but should we head up North we´ll be thinking of you .
The Denish heathen organization "Forn Sidr" has their annual althing in May, and from our experience it is a nice place for meeting the odd heathen from Norway, Sweden, Iceland, Netherlands, or Germany. We might be persuaded to go there again *g*.
Do you have any local/regional/Irish co-heathens you have significant contact or cooperation with? How "present" is heathenry in your country? I know of a few British heathens, mostly in London, through my membership in the Troth (but haven´t had much exchange with them yet).

This is beautiful. My partner is a Freysman, and I'll be sure to show it to him. Love the amber, that's a good idea.
(The online Frey shrine he put up, BTW: [link] )
The Freya falcon picture is pretty awesome as well. Good work!
