This one of my all time fav characters that I created for the D&D world of Eberron. ( I love halflings, such and amazing race)A Halfling Mage (Battle-Caster), lightning spells were or are her trademark. (and she was very good at using them too) lol

I really do thing the pose is great.
Just, it's hard to get an idea of 'scale' and such.

Oh i understood you perfectly, and i understand about scale and such. i do have her in a more upright pose for the camera kinda-deal shot. maybe i'll post that with her adventuring friends for scale. i'll have to get permission from the other players in the game of course.
