The Chesnaught is a large mammal , living in small groups where they eat bugs and other small prey , but they also eat plants so they are pretty good survivors and are adaptable . Once a chesnaught is pregnant it carries a litter of 3 - 5 young and guard them once they are born during their first years , but once they reach the "Quilladin" stage , they can survive pretty good for themselves .
