And now it’s time for some more Dead Space Criterion Art. Initially this was just a rushed sketch of the initial form of the suit, but once I scanned it in I decided to work on it a bit more. But this is by no mean the final look of the Criterion Suit.

So let me point out the elephant in the room; it’s not a man, it’s a WOMAN. What’s a woman in a title role and she hasn’t got her tits out, what’s the world coming to?! D8
All sarcasm aside, I can write for and design female characters a lot better than male ones. And since normally everyone brings a sausage to these sorts of affairs I'd thought that Id mix things up a bit by bringing a taco.

So let me spill some beans, because I didn’t leave much info in my Last Dead Space Criterion teaser . The characters name is Samantha Weaver (named after Sam Neill for his role in Event Horizon and Sigourney Weaver for Aliens ). She's a former EarthGov Operative, specialising in close quarter combat with her partner James Anderson (James Cameron who directed Aliens, and Paul W.S. Anderson directed Event Horizon).

The pair are on the Sprawl taking up an advisory job for Project Karyotype, an EarthGov funded project for an Advanced RIG development, after their contract was previously terminated.
The results were two variants, the male Alpha Suit and the female Omega Suit. The suits give their wearers a pair of combat blades, which resonate at a frequency that knocks out unmodified Plasma tools. The suits also grant their wearers through a Catalyst, Membrane Stasis, and a state in which reflexes and sense of perception are tripled.

The pair are amidst testing when the Necromorph Outbreak occurs on the Sprawl, and James with the Alpha suit is subdued by Necromorph's; giving rise to the Alpha Stalker.

So enjoy, until I’ve finalised it.
