Description
the original penciled page. this was the way i wanted the book to look, but i was told it had to be inked. i took out some of the pencil detail when i inked it, but i thought it would be cool to see the original page.this page i had to take out the logo on the helmet since they didn't want any crossover between gijoe and tf's.

oh, it's a shame they didn't let the book look like this. I personally LOVE penciled pages, especially with a good color work.

the inks were alright, but i was going to do the pencils with the effort that Joe Mad gave in ultimates 3. that book looked awesome in pencil, and i wanted to try that, but that was a no go.
oh well, i guess i'll have to do it on something else then. but the pencils were better since i took out detail in the inks.

And it's pretty strange as crossover movie of GIJoes and TFs is inevitable, since the GIJoe Movie is out this year...

i thought since there both properties owned by hasbro, and idw now handle gijoe comics, that it wouldn't be a big deal, but they don't want to mix the two. so i just got rid of it on the final. made the helmet look very plain in the final, but thats what they wanted i guess.

That's the hard thing of drawing for pay. You can't decide yourself what is better to the picture
