I love the painting, as usual. But, I'm not liking that effect of what looks like a translucent value in her hair (right side of photo) where it would be shadowed. It comes off as being distracting. Totally digging the edge strokes.

Thanks for that - it's a lousy photo i'm afraid. quite difficult to shoot glass! i'll try to post a better one today...
